Catherine Deneuve is the French actress/model/designer muse to know. She’s appeared in over 120 films throughout her career (working with everyone from Roman Polanski to Lars von Trier), fronted campaigns for Chanel No. 5 in the 1970s, and served as a muse to designer Yves Saint Laurent for his iconic Le Smoking tuxedo suit. Today, the star turns 72, so it’s only fitting to take a look back at her most iconic covers for Vogue Paris (the holy grail of all things chic and French), where she has appeared numerous times over the years.
