Taraji P. Henson Takes Us Through the Process of Getting Her New Hairdo

Actress Taraji P. Henson is known for her glamour just as much as her dynamic acting of late. The Empire and Hidden Figures star took to Instagram over the weekend to show off a new hairstyle to the delight of her fans.

Henson, 46, has always been dazzling over the course of her career, and she isn’t shy about showing off the sultry and serious sides of her persona. However, everyone needs a change at times and Henson, like many of us, grew tired of her hair and wanted to jazz things up a bit. In one shot before the transformation, Henson can be seen in the photo looking fed up with the mass of hair sitting atop her head.

“It’s GOTTA GO!!! A new doo is underway!!!!” wrote Henson in the caption of the photo, with fans anticipating what was next.

In a pair of later posts, Henson showed the progress made by her stylist, Tymothe Wallace, by showing off the pieces of her curls that got trimmed.

In the end, Henson’s excitement over her glamorous new tresses was apparent in the photo of the style and it’s caption.

“Girl, that ME!! I can’t keep my hair long for nothing anymore. Can’t wait to see the new cut,” wrote one fan. Another added, “Your hair is so cute and you look so cute with it.”

Indeed she does.
