How to Shop ColourPop's Gorgeous New Sunset Collection

I'm not big on eyeshadow. In fact, I'm not really into eyeliner either. I'm a big face-toucher in times of stress slash all the times, which means nine times out of ten, any eye makeup I leave the house wearing typically ends up splotched across my face by mid-day. But that doesn't mean I don't admire — from afar — eye makeup. If anything, I'd say I'm more of a mascara kind of a gal. But after catching sight of the just-dropped ColourPop Sunset Collection, I may soon be changing my tune. Serious.

The affordable and fast cosmetic brand's summer line, which officially launched today, features six brightly beautiful Pressed Powder Shadows, which are crazily pigmented, and three vivid Super Shock Shadows, which have a silkier, creamier on-the-go finish. Oh, and there's no denying all the shadows' resemblance to a certain sweet chewy treat: The colors look exactly like Starburst chews, Hello Giggles first pointed out.

Breaking down the collection, first up there's Tiki, the sunshine-y shade — complete with flecks of gold — an on-trend hue to fit in with this season's new go-to move: yellow lids. Best Coast Scenario is a hot tangerine vibrant enough to wear alone, or versatile enough to blend with a deeper shade for extra depth and drama. Next is Oh Ship, a fiery red-orange color we imagine will wear just as gorg pressed onto the lips as it will on the lids. If you're looking for more of a coral tone, For Shore and Sandbar is a hot pink situation tone favored by celebs like Jourdan Dunn and Emma Stone. And finally, there's Seas the Day, a pretty pink-y red option.

And as for the new three Super Shock Shadows — the long-wearing crème powder formulas ColourPop fans know and love — there's Tankini, a mustard-y hue topped with slick silver, Kelp Me, a bright pinky melon shade with subtle hints of shimmer, and Hot Totty, a spunky fuchsia pigment blended with hot pink glitter. Needless to say, this collection is cool — cool for the summer, that is. And we're thinking Demi Lovato would totally approve.

The ColourPop Sunset Collection is available now — like, right now! — for $5 each at colourpop.com, so if you're dying to add the sunshine-y bright shadows to your stash, I'd suggest heading on over there, stat, because with pigment so pretty, who knows how long they'll stay in stock.
