Your first look at the new Lara Croft is here.

The Tomb Raider reboot starring Alicia Vikander has begun filming, and according to new behind-the-scenes photos, the actress tackles Angelina Jolie's iconic role in the most badass way:

Vikander nails the look-the long braid, the tank top, the cargo pants-but she's got the moves down, too. She was seen on set breaking a sweat while doing her own stunts, climbing and jumping from hanging beams.

Jolie originally brought the role of Croft to life for the first Tomb Raider movie in 2001. The film was actually an onscreen adaptation of the hit video game of the same name, which released in 1996.

Though Vikander may be known for her dramatic roles (she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for The Danish Girl last year), she's also proven herself in action films, such as Jason Bourne in 2015. The actress was first announced to play Croft in April 2016. (Other actresses reportedly considered for the role included Star Wars' Daisy Ridley.)

The Tomb Raider reboot is slated to hit theaters next year, on March 16, 2018.
