Ryan Lochte's Hair Is Now a Minty Green Color
Ryan Lochte, Olympic gold medalist and all-star bro, dyed his hair ahead of the Rio Olympics, turning his brown locks silver (which he said was actually a light shade of blue). Some fans were none too happy. By the time he was in Rio, however, Lochte, who earned his sixth gold medal Tuesday night, already had a new hair color: minty green.
Lochte isn't saying why his hair is green, but assuming he didn't actually dye it again, a number of people have noted that his new hair color is likely the result of mixing hair-dye chemicals with the chlorine from the pool.
As a blonde I feel @RyanLochte's green hair struggle. Gotta treat that stuff before the chlorine bud, you're gonna be green for awhile 😂

Lochte's hair wasn't the only thing that turned green in Rio: One of the diving pools turned a bright shade of green. But that was because of algae, according to Olympic officials.
