Rihanna's Met Gala Nail Polish Will Only Cost You $10
Rihanna absolutely nailed it at the Met Gala!
The “Love on the Brain” singer wore a Comme des Garçons look straight from the Fall 2016 runway full of floral and ruffle-like details. She paired it with over-the-top blush á la Grace Jones circa 1980, raspberry pink lipstick, and a slick bangs and topknot hairstyle.
To complement RiRi’s “modern take on a flamenco dress,” celebrity manicurist Maria Salandra created an elaborate nail art design using gold foil and a robin’s egg blue nail polish that costs under $10.
Salandra painted Red Carpet Manicure Gel in Insta Famous (a baby blue crème color) on the lower half of Rihanna’s long, almond-shaped nails. She cured it with the Red Carpet Manicure Pro 45 Light, then applied damask-patterned gold foil to the tips. The result: a punk-meets-pretty mani that is not only affordable but easy to recreate.
