In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America today, Prince Harry opened up to Robin Roberts about his late mother Princess Diana, charity work and his desire to have kids one day.

The 31-year-old royal is currently putting together the second Invictus Games, a paralympic sporting event, and discussed how he hopes to follow in his mother's footsteps by continuing her humanitarian legacy.

"We will do everything we can to make sure that she's never forgotten and carry on all of the special gifts, as such, that she portrayed while she was alive. I hope that my mothers talent's are shown in a lot of the work that I do," he told Roberts. He reminisced about special moments he shared with his mother before her death, like riding Space Mountain at Disney World 14 times.

"I hope she's looking down with tears in her eyes being incredibly proud of what we've established," he added.

What he's referring to is not just royal responsibilities, but also family. Roberts brought up William and Kate's children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, whom Harry is close with. "I hope that I'm a fun uncle," he said of his niece and nephew.

But is he planning on having kids of his own? "I can't wait for the day. It'll be fantastic," he admitted.

His relationship with William's children and those he encounters on his humanitarian missions around the world are solid evidence that he's great with kids. "I've got a kid inside of me. I want to keep that. I adore kids," he said. He also couldn't help but brag a little: "I give very good hugs."
