Move over Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss—Burberry has announced that Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn will be fronting the Spring 2015 ad campaign, shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. This is the first time Campbell and Dunn have been shot together. It’s a major moment for these top black models, and a somewhat rare display of diversity in an industry where darker skin tones aren’t as well represented.

"Naomi and Jourdan – two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign," said Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer, in a press statement. We love that Burberry is continuing their pattern of showcasing two generations of supermodels, after pairing Moss and Delevingne for the My Burberry ads.

Behind the fresh-faced beauty look is Burberry makeup artistic consultant Wendy Rowe. “It is all about skin with a golden radiance,” says Rowe. She started by applying Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base ($48) in Golden Radiance to create a healthy glow. Rowe then highlighted the forehead, nose, Cupid’s bow and chin using Burberry’s Sheer Concealer ($40) and followed up with foundation to even out the complexion.

To get those creamy brown eyes, Rowe used two shades form the Complete Eye Palette ($60), Mocha and Dark Spice and applied liner to the waterline and upper lash line. “Eyes are subtly intensified with kohl around the waterline and lightly into the lashes to accentuate the eye shape,” says Rowe. She completed the look with a soft coral lip using Lip Cover in Devon Sunset ($33).

We are giving Burberry CEO Christopher Bailey—and Wendy Rowe—two big thumbs up for putting these two British icons in the spotlight.
