Melania Trump’s Dos and Don’ts for Staying Beautiful

Have you ever wondered how Melania Trump stays so skinny and wax-figure-like? A new profile in GQ sheds some light on the potential First Lady’s inner life — she has a half brother no one knew about! She refers to her domestic employees as “the help!” — as well as (most important) her beauty routine. Here, Melania’s do’s and don'ts for staying beautiful.

DO: Eat jewelry instead of food.
Pro tip: jewelry has no calories.
DON’T: Skimp on sleep.
She rarely partied, never brought anyone back to the apartment, and was always home early. “She didn’t go out to dance clubs; she’d go to Cipriani for dinner at ten and be home by one,” Atanian recalls.
DO: Exercise, moisturize, and — if you must eat food — make it seven pieces of fruit a day.
In New York, Melania lived a quiet, homebound life, taking assiduous care of her body: walks with ankle weights, seven pieces of fruit every day, diligently moisturizing her skin.

DON’T: Ever let them see you without your makeup.
At an age when her classmates were pimply, casual high schoolers, Melania was always perfectly made up, recalls Sedej. Foundation, mascara, blush, lip gloss, all in just the right, subtle amount. “Even in summertime,” she says, “she was always perfect, every day.”
DON’T: Get plastic surgery or Botox.
Again, Melania scoffs when I ask if she had had a breast augmentation. “I didn’t make any changes,” she says. “A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”
