DIY makeup tips can be found practically anywhere these days. The general agreement is cosmetic hacks are best — and are practically miracles — when they are safe, cheap, and easy. Those looking for a homespun secret to fleek brows can look no further than their backyard grill.

A Dubai-based makeup artist and blogger named Rawal Kaur Sethi shared her go-to product for bolder brows — charcoal.

In an Instagram video (via PopSugar), Rawal first shows off one already made-up brow, which was done with Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade. Next, she uses an angled brush to dab charcoal onto her other brow.

The result is pretty remarkable — you can’t even tell the difference between the two brows. They both look fierce!

As Rawal writes in the caption, there’s no need to worry about charcoal being harmful to your skin. It’s actually a commonly-used ingredient in skincare. Charcoal facial masks, anyone? The only downside is this shortcut can only be used by people with dark brows, since charcoal unfortunately doesn’t come in blonde.
