Make Your Foundation Work with a Tan

It’s spring break time, which means beach vacations or sunny slopes. You suddenly realize the foundation you’ve been using all winter no longer matches your newly sun-kissed skin. You don’t need to run out and buy a new foundation, especially since your new tan might fade within a week. Here’s how to make that healthy glow work:

  • Instead of buying a new foundation, grab your bronzer and use it on your whole face, not just on your cheeks. Applying bronzer on your face and neck will help to pull everything together and give a natural tint to the skin.

  • If you have a darker shade of foundation that your normally wear in the summer, mix it with your current foundation to create a shade that matches your tan. The key is to have your foundation match your skin exactly.

  • After you apply your moisturizer, apply a light bronzer all over your face and blend it into the moisturizer to create a custom sheer tint.
