Kylie Jenner's Makeup Artist Shows You The Easiest Way to Fake Bigger Lips
If you want to fake the appearance of fuller lips, Kylie Jenner has you covered. No, not with lip injections, but with some pro tips from a makeup artist that deliver serious results. Check out the easy steps from Kylie's website/app, below. You'll need lipliner and a matching lipstick, a lip brush, concealer, and lip gloss.
First, use the lip liner to create a vertical line down the center of your lips. This helps you keep your lips symmetrical when you're overdrawing.
Then, outline your lips, going a bit above your lip line.
Using the lip liner again, shade inside your lip line. Pencil inwards, from the outside of your lips to the inside.
Apply lipstick with a firm lip brush. This helps blend the lipstick and liner together. Kylie uses Kylie Cosmetics lip kit in Candy K here, but you can use any shade or find a similar dupe.
Next comes gloss (Kylie Cosmetics' Literally gloss is used here) in the center of your lips. This reflects light and fakes fullness.
Finally, clean up your lip edges with concealer. This is a great hack for anytime you apply lipstick, especially matte.
