When Kristin Cavallari hit the Grammys red carpet for E! last night in a plunging black Olima gown, she had something perhaps a little bit surprising to credit for the particularities of her daring look: breastfeeding.

Sure, the former reality star stunned in the sexy black dress with a sheer, thigh-high slit and open back, but she’s not calling out the designer who created her custom gown in her notable Instagram post. (No worries, friends; she covered that earlier.) This time, Cavallari is offering up a salute to multitasking moms everywhere with a little tongue-in-cheek appreciation for asymmetry.

“I just wanna thank breast feeding for making my left boob perkier than my right,” she wrote. “Oh, and the glam squad. And spicy, skinny margs. Goodnight!”

Cavallari is the latest in a string of proud celebrity moms, like Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Wilde, and Dancing With the Stars’ Peta Murgatroyd, who are refreshingly open about breastfeeding and its sometimes difficult nature. But if you’re concerned about her suddenly asymmetrical assets, fear not: It’s totally normal.

Having breasts (or nipples) that are two different sizes is completely normal at any time in life, and postpartum is no exception. Just as women’s breasts are different sizes, their milk ducts are different sizes, which can lead to variations in milk supply, and subsequently, breast appearance. “Some women end up with one breast a full cup size smaller or larger than the other after breastfeeding,” according to WebMD. This idea really isn’t that odd considering the fact that technically, a woman’s breasts essentially “eat” themselves in order to shrink back to their pre-breastfeeding state. (Talk about weird science.)

Either way, to Cavallari we just say this: Lookin’ good, mama.
