Kim Kardashian and Jared Leto Go Platinum Blonde

On Thursday at Paris Fashion Week’s Balmain runway show all eyes should have been on the runway, but two high profile guests managed to upstage the designer creations. First, Kim Kardashian nearly broke the internet again arriving with newly platinum locks. The star, who recently chopped her hair into a trendy lob, went from brunette to blonde in just one go according to her Instagram account. The reality star thanked colorist Lorri Goddard, who is also behind Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Lawrence’s color, for getting the color in “one try.” If you know anything about going platinum, that is an impressive feat.

This isn’t Kardashian’s first go at lighter locks, but it’s definitely the most dramatic. She colored her hair back in 2013, getting honey-blonde highlights from colorist George Papanikolos at the Andy Lecompte Salon. Looks like she’s following in the footsteps of younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, who showed off blonde highlights just last week.
Not to be outdone, Jared Leto also arrived at the Balmain show with platinum hair. The actor already shocked the world by cutting off his ponytail and shaving his beard earlier this week for his turn as the Joker in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie.
