Fauxhawks are notoriously uncool. You hear the word and think of 2000s frosted tips and crunchy gel, but Kaley Cuoco is here to change that. The Big Bang Theory actress just stepped out in a pretty fauxhawk made up of four messy buns, and the look is changing the tacky 2000s game.

Hairstylist Christine Symonds prepped Kaley’s hair with Batiste Dry Shampoo “for grit and texture all over the strands,” she said in a press release. “Next, I pulled her hair into four pony tails down the back of her head. I twisted two sections of the pony tails and then wrapped in messy buns by leaving the ends out for a messy look and secured with bobby pins.” Symonds elevated the look with Ouai Wave Spray, pulling apart the buns until they were full and light. She completed it with a mist of Oribe Superfine Hair Spray to secure the buns.

Cuoco’s makeup look was equally of-the-moment, with matchy mauve eyes and lips. She wore rosy pink shadow in the creases of her eyes, with a soft cat eye and pinky brown lips to match.
