Jordyn Woods Is Not Sorry About Her Gap Teeth

Jordyn Woods is making a statement against the industry that’s urging her to “fix” the way she looks.

The 19-year-old model and BFF to Kylie Jenner is no stranger to the ridiculous beauty standards of Hollywood, or the need to fight against them. Just yesterday, she posted a photo on Instagram flashing a gorgeous smile that shows off her signature gap teeth. And although there’s no arguing that Woods looks beautiful, her industry is suggesting that she do something about the gap.

“Often people have the nerve to say fix your teeth…for your information,” Woods captioned the photo. “No I will not fix my gap to blend in with the rest of society! My gap makes me who I am. Your individuality is one of your special powers in this generation where everyone’s trying to fit in and keep up.”

As a plus-size model, this isn’t the first time that Woods has been outspoken about the pressure that the industry puts on women. In the past, she has faced criticism for sharing photos of her curvy body. While other times, she’s met with judgements from people who think she shouldn’t be posting photos of her working out if she’s so appreciative of the figure she has.

The near impossibility of trying to please everyone who has something to say about the way she looks has seemingly not gotten in the way of her happiness. Whether it’s her body, her teeth, or whatever else people want to criticize, Woods is happy the way she is — as well she should be!
