Leftovers...what leftovers?

As any new mom of any child under two knows, you've got to take your chances to eat (or nap, or bathe, or go to the bathroom) when you get them. Even for a high-profile celeb like Jessica Biel (who, yes, probably has help), finding time for yourself while functioning as the mom of a growing baby is rough. At a screening of the Amazon series Just Add Magic - hosted at Au Fudge, the West Hollywood restaurant Biel co-owns - the actress told People about her son's less-than-ideal (but typical toddler) eating habits.

"I'm the human vacuum cleaner at the end of the meal!" she said. "That is what happens when you're a mom or a dad. You make food, they eat what they eat, and you literally - as they are running off trying to grab something - you are shoveling the last few bites off of their plate. And that is your lunch."

Biel, who is married to Justin Timberlake, was open about the not-so-glamorous realities of being a first-time mom and has shared how tough parenting can be since she welcomed her son Silas Randall in April 2015. Perfect example: Back in September, she shared a relatable AF photo to Instagram of herself eating breakfast in the shower.

And when it comes to cooking for her kid, Biel is the first to admit that she's not perfect. Though she prides herself on cooking healthy, balanced meals, even she sometimes relies on the carry-and-go pre-prepared meals that all moms inevitably need to turn to at some point. "A lot of the time we are doing the best that we can," Biel revealed to People. "Maybe just picking up pre-made stuff from Whole Foods."

Such is #momlife.
