Ireland Baldwin is a long-legged model from a famous family who makes looking good look easy — but that doesn’t mean she’s immune to insecurity.

The 21-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger got candid about her body on Instagram yesterday, sharing a video of herself playfully shaking her booty in a black bra and gray thong alongside a moving missive detailing her personal insecurities and struggles with self-acceptance.

“I’m sure a lot of you out there can relate to how I feel so I think I can be honest,” she began, before admitting that the pressure of appearing perfect for other people can be overwhelming. “Sometimes I get caught up in the opinions of others and I get really down on myself,” she explained. “I am pale white. I hardly tan. I have cellulite.” (Take heart: even the woman with the “world’s deadliest thighs” has cellulite.) “I’m a 36 D cup and I have a booty. I’ve got inner thigh fat. And outer thigh. And just straight-up thigh fat,” the 6’2” model confessed.

And yo-yo dieting? She’s been there. “I drop weight rather quickly but gain it by eating one bagel,” she wrote. “I’ve gone from a size 00 to a size 6 to a size whatever to not knowing to not eating to eating boxes of pizza to starving myself to being gym-obsessed to eating my way out of a sprinkles cupcakes bakery to now.”

Now, she’s ready for a reboot. “I’ve been cloudy, unfocused, and losing energy. I need to reset my mind and body,” Ireland shared, in order to “take this harsh world with a grain of salt and accept myself for who I am.” And to that end, the stylish blonde will be dedicating the next month to what she describes as “a full mind, body, and health reset cleanse. It’s not juicing, it’s not starvation, and it’s not about obsessing over each and every inch of my body.”

Oh, and she’ll be posting “tips and tricks” along the way. Because “I’m no fitness and health expert. Lord knows I love deep-fried pizza … but I do know what I’ve done in the past to reach my goals and I want to share them with girls who are in my shoes. It’s time to love yourself and take care of our bodies!!!”

so this is somewhat of a personal post… I feel like I should always be honest on here. Everyone that knows me knows I don't pretend to be anybody on here. I'm sure a lot of you out there can relate to how I feel so I think I can be honest. Sometimes I get caught up in the opinions of others and I get really down on myself. I am pale white. I hardly tan. I have cellulite. I'm not petite. I'm around 6 ft. I drop weight rather quickly but gain it by eating one bagel. I'm a 36 D cup and I have a booty. I've got inner thigh fat. And outer thigh. And just straight up thigh fat. I've gone from a size 00 to a size 6 to a size whatever to not knowing to not eating to eating boxes of pizza to starving myself to being gym obsessed to eating my way out of a sprinkles cupcakes bakery to now. I'm happy. I'm mentally ready to work hard. It's not even necessarily a matter of working out and eating clean, it's also how I've thought recently. I've been cloudy, unfocused and losing energy. I need to reset my mind and body. I now take this harsh world with a grain of salt and accept myself for who I am. Sure I could work a little bit harder. We all can. Or maybe you need to learn to love yourself before you can do anything. I'm taking the next month to do a full mind, body and health reset cleanse. It's not juicing, it's not starvation, and it's not about obsessing over each and every inch of my body. I'm happy to post my tips and tricks along my journey to reaching my healthiest self. I'm no fitness and health expert. Lord knows I love deep fried pizza and I shout super size me from the mountaintops, but I do know what I've done in the past to reach my goals and I want to share them with girls who are in my shoes. It's time to love your self and take care of our bodies!!! ❤️

And fans are absolutely eating up her body-positive message. At press time, her post had racked up more than 72,000 views and 500 predominantly admiring comments. “Omg!! I love you lady! Keep on being you! You got this!” posted one. “Brutally honest and straightforward. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out,” wrote another.

But this isn’t the first time Ireland, who signed with IMG models in 2013, has opened up about personal issues in the public eye. Two years ago, the then 19-year-old model checked into rehab for “emotional trauma” and got candid with her fans about the struggles that put her there, confessing in another Instagram post that her anxiety had become so troublesome, she “could hardly hold a real conversation with another human being long enough before I was due to have an anxiety attack and find my way out of it.”

Then as now, Ireland was all about self-care and sharing the love. “I’m proud to say I will not be knocked down and alone next time around. I have never been so supported and felt so loved in my life,” she wrote. “I love my friends, I love this beautiful planet, and I love new beginnings. and I love you all for making me feel beautiful and supported every single day!”
