The once sore spots are now full-fledged beauty marks that are easier to realistically emulate than you think. Makeup artist Lauren Cosenza takes us through the steps.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A waterproof, long-wear brow pencil or gel; Cosenza used Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade ($18, sephora.com) applied with Tarte Etch & Sketch Double-Ended Bamboo Liner Brush ($15, tartecosmetics.com).

  • Mattifying powder; we like Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder ($37, sephora.com).
