The "Harry Potter" Movies Do NOT Look Like This Anymore

From Seventeen

For 15 years (😳) the Harry Potter movies have been bringing joy and happiness, and of course, tons of magic to our lives. But now the movies we know and love are getting a major change.

Pottermore just announced that to honor the series, they've redesigned the classic movie covers, releasing two separate Blue Ray collections with two brand new looks. Harry deserves monuments, skyscrapers, and hospitals (Harry Potter's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries?) resurrected in his honor, but this is nice too, I guess.

Moments

The first collection is called "Moments" and, like the new movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, these covers pay tribute to the magical creatures that starred in each film, as well as the main cast.

Iconic

The second collection is called "Iconic" and each cover features an ionic object that was crucial to each movie's plot. Bonus: there are even hidden messages in some of the covers.

Angie Lai, the executive director for the film marketing team at Warner Bros. said, "It's looking at it for the fans who know what these objects are. If you look closer, at the Sorting Hat, for example, you can see Harry's glasses. Or if you look at Half-Blood Prince, you have Tom Riddle's memory vial in the middle, as a little hidden gem."

Of course, with the new cover designs, they've also redesigned the box sets go along with them.

Both box sets will drop on July 25, only 6 days before the release of the new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play and book.
