Mega Greens Galaxy Pack ($22)

“If I had to pick a favorite beauty treatment, masks would take the cake (OK, they might be tied with face mists, but more on that another day) and last night, I added Glossier’s newest offering to my skin care arsenal. Described as a juice cleanse for your face, the mask works to detoxify, cleanse, and condition skin—which is exactly what I was looking for after a glass of wine and a slice (or two) of pizza. I set aside 20 minutes, the recommended time to leave the mask on, and applied a thin layer all over my face. Upon application, my skin was left feeling tingly in a this totally working kind of way. Formulated with natural, plant-based ingredients like bitter orange peel, kaolin clay, leafy greens, and avocado oil, the mask is extra gentle while still working to clear pores and exfoliate. Upon rinsing off the mask, my skin felt smooth, bright, and squeaky clean—and it’s still feeling that way this morning. I’ll take this over drinking my greens any day.” —Alexandra Perron

Moisturizing Moon Mask ($22)

“After experiencing an allergic skin reaction earlier this week, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant to try anything new on my skin, but this creamy mask looked too good to pass up. Loaded with shea butter, sweet almond oil, and soybean oil, it felt extremely moisturizing on contact. I spread a thin layer onto my face, and felt a slight tingling sensation. (OK, Alex and I may have shared our mutual “It’s doing something!” sentiments over a late night IM convo.) I was surprised to see that the mask had disappeared and dried into my skin after just 10 out of the allotted 20 minutes. I waited it out though, and when I rinsed with warm water, I could feel a slightly goopy texture as the mask washed off. I was left with really bright, glowy skin (courtesy of natural brighteners like licorice root and lemon extract), but was particularly overwhelmed by the way my skin was completely retexturized and soft, even well into the next day. The addition of honey and aloe really trapped the moisture, so I barely even needed to use face lotion—pretty miraculous given the previously rough state of my parched winter skin. With results like these, I will definitely make this mask a once-a-week habit.” —Joanna Douglas
