This Girl's Hack for Keeping On Her Makeup In the Shower Is Genius
There are certain times in a person's life that their makeup looks absolutely perfect: before bed, when you go out in public and and see no one you know, and right before a shower. Such a waste. But Lauren, a 22-year-old Texan thought of a genius hack to preserve her pre-shower makeup game.
Before hopping into the tub, Lauren slapped on a pair of goggles for the ultimate eye makeup protection.
After showering, her fierce brows and mega lashes were still fully intact.
She posted the hack on Snapchat and then to Tumblr, where it totally blew up.
"Like, the next morning after posting it I had like 5,000 notes [on Tumblr]," she told BuzzFeed. "Then the next week I had 22,000 notes, and now I have almost 100,000 on the original post."
Not everyone was impressed by her stroke of genius, though. Some commenters said she should have just washed her hair in the sink (a much more complicated solution IMO), to which she replied:
"Listen, if you think I'm gonna squeeze my fat ass head between a faucet and a drain and deny myself of a wonderful, full-body experience, you're dead wrong. My hair is greasy and by the end of the day I had my makeup on and I wanted to go out with my friends, but I'd be dead before I wasted another pair of lashes and 45 minutes blending eyeshadow."
