Gigi Hadid Loves This Hairstyle So Much, She Wore It Two Days in a Row
A ‘do so nice, she wore it twice! Gigi Hadid debuted a cool cornrow-esque hairstyle Wednesday, and she liked it so much, she rocked it again Thursday.
The style consisted of two inside-out French braids at the top and middle of her head — kind of like two lone cornrows. She pulled the braids and the rest of her hair into a high ponytail.
The athletic-looking braids went perfectly with her Wednesday outfit: She was decked out head-to-toe in Reebok workout wear to host the company’s #PerfectNever Revolution event, where she revealed she has a thyroid condition she’s silently struggled with for years.
The braids gave her casual look an urban upgrade Thursday as she shopped her way around New York City. She was wearing a dramatic long, shiny, black trench coat over a cropped black pullover hoodie with thumbholes. Her high-waisted ’80s-mom jeans were rolled up at the bottom, revealing a pair of baby blue lace-up heeled booties with white lace trim. She was carrying a zillion Victoria’s Secret bags (either she’s a full-time walking ad or a loyal employee).
We love a recycled style, and we like to think that Hadid went to sleep in her braids Wednesday night and woke up Thursday with them all frizzy but still loved them, so she refused to take them out. Of course, if it were us, the frizz would still have been there as we went on with our day. But Hadid’s braids probably never looked anything but perfect — just like her.
