On Wednesday, Tarek El Moussa, star of HGTV's Flip or Flop, took to Twitter and Instagram to clear up claims published in the January 30 issue of In Touch Magazine.

The tabloid reported claims about the reality star's divorce from wife and co-star, Christina El Moussa, which said El Moussa was guilty of verbally attacking his former spouse, frequently calling her vulgar names like "whore."

When an excerpt from the In Touch story was published online on Wednesday, Tarek decided to speak out by sharing a message to fans and followers on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. On both platforms, El Moussa said, "No matter the lies, innuendo, salacious gossip and 'fake news' that is thrown at me from irresponsible media outlets via anonymous sources, I will keep my focus on what matters most, which is co-parenting our children and working hard on our business."

Christina El Moussa has yet to comment.

The former TV couple who announced their split on Dec 12, 2016, vowed "to continue our professional life together," despite their break up. But according to E! News, new episodes of Flip or Flop are only being filmed to fulfill contractual obligations for the remainder of the year and after that, the HGTV series will end.
