Flashback Friday: Chocolate Banana Shake

Makes 2 Shakes

– 3 ripe bananas

– 1 cup non-fat greek yogurt

– 2 tbsp cacao powder

– Almond Milk, as needed

Cut bananas into bite size pieces. Place in a container and freeze 4 hours or overnight.

Place frozen bananas in a blender. Blend until bananas resemble the texture of very soft ice cream. You might have to stop every few minutes to scrape down the sides of the blender. This will take a few minutes. Blend in cacao powder and yogurt. Once completely blended, place the mixture back in the freezer for 30 minutes or so just to get it a little colder and stiffer. Bring back to blender and add almond milk to desired thickness. For thicker shakes, use less milk.
