Media darling and social media queen, Eva Chen, may have found her true calling after leaving her role as the editor-in-chief of Lucky earlier this spring. She unveiled her new role quite fittingly on Instagram:

“Beyond excited to announce that I’ll be joining the brilliant team at Instagram as head of fashion partnerships! (Today being #worldemojiday is the best coincidence, yes!)”

The photo of Chen standing in her new office received over 10,300 likes at press time. With 392,000 followers on the photo-driven social network, Chen has already harnessed the power of Instagram in many ways pertaining to the style world. She’s the creator of the oft-mimicked #EvaChenPose, displaying her coordinating shoes, bag, and fruit in the backseat of a car. She’s know for posting her beauty empties, the adored products she’s used to the last drop, with accompanying reviews in the comments. And she’s also created the Instagram account @photogenicwalls, geotagging the best backdrops for selfies.

For someone as busy as Chen, she somehow always makes time for Instagram, posting stylish photos rocking her signature high-low blend, and replying to readers with genuine advice and suggestions. As a result, she’s created a personal brand that resonates with many women of all ages.

While the details of her new duties at Instagram are still under wraps, Chen’s fashion background combined with the brand’s new ad integration has industry experts speculating that this might become a new approach to e-commerce. One thing is for sure: With a love of style and completely addictive feed of her own, Chen will thrive in her new position.
