Ethereal ‘70s Beauty at Gucci Cruise

Yesterday 96 models paraded down the Gucci Resort 2017 runway, and each one of them had a different beauty look. Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath crafted the looks with the help of hairstylist Paul Hanlon. The collection was eclectic and ‘70s inspired, and the beauty looks definitely reflected that, as well as the individuality of each model.

Our favorite look from the runway is unique but wearable. McGrath likely used her cult favorite highlighter, Phantom 003, on the model’s eyes, nose bridge, and cheekbones for a pearlescent hue. Most models had bleached brows, seeing out the overly defined Instagram brow trend. The model wore a rosy pink gloss on her bee stung pout – we like Glossier’s Cherry Balmdotcom – and drew the gloss over the cupid’s bow and below the lower lip for a high gloss look.

Hair looks undone, modern, and effortless, with a hint of edgy ‘70s style. We love the center parted bangs and contrasting hair to complement an otherwise classic hat.
