Estée Lauder Holiday Compacts Just Got a Cool Upgrade

The holiday season is upon us and if there’s one thing we can count on besides hot cocoa, Christmas lights and Santa Clause, it’s the gorgeous Estée Lauder holiday compacts. Every year since the first compact was created in 1956 (read: 60 years!), the makeup brand has produced a new collection. Thus far, the cosmetic giant has crafted more than 1,700 one-of-a-kind compacts, but this year there’s a cool addition.
Now you don't have to dig deep into your handbag for a quick makeup fix because for the first time, Estée will include an owl and frog lipstick-filled charm bracelets that house its pure color crystal lipstick. Also new to the mix is designer and photographer Monica Rich Kosann who’s the artist behind the holiday compacts, wearable solid perfume necklaces and lipstick bracelets that are truly one-of-a-kind. Kosann's main goal is to transform her clients’ most cherished memories into a customized piece of art. And now that she's working with the mega brand, the Estée Lauder holiday compacts are loaded with symbolism we can all get behind—the owl is wisdom, turtle is endurance and the moon is dream.
There’s also a glittering globe solid perfume, octopus compact and (my personal favorite) a star perfume necklace. But TBH I’d be happy to receive any of them. Each piece tells a unique story—similar to Monica’s own jewelry collection—and draws inspiration from nature.
So be sure to tell Santa about these compacts, and since Estée Lauder just purchased Too Faced, tell him to grab a few palettes for you while he's at it.
