Did You Notice Austin Butler Was in 41 Episodes of "Ned's Declassified"?

From Seventeen

Here's a weird mystery: if Austin Butler appeared in 41 of the 55 episodes of Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, why can't you remember him ever being there?

After all, as MTV News points out, that's the same number of episodes that Coconut Head appeared in, and you will never, ever forget that perfectly round mop of hair.

It turns out that Austin was there all along - we just never noticed it because his character, Zippy Brewster, was always lurking in the background.

Zippy was there when Ned and Moze played Spin the Bottle.

And he was apparently friends with Cookie.

And when Moze needed her kiss with Faymen to be extra-romantic, he pulled out all the stops with a flock of doves.

Austin was 13 when a representative from a background-acting management company approached him at a fair. He landed the recurring role on Ned's Declassified and took the work seriously. He found that he really enjoyed being on set and chose to pursue acting classes. He became friendly with Lindsey Shaw (Moze) on the set of Ned's Declassified, who introduced Austin to her manager. The manager was impressed and offered to represent him, and the rest is history!

Soon, Austin was booking extra and guest roles on Unfabulous, Drake & Josh, Hannah Montana, Zoey 101, iCarly, and Wizards of Waverly Place. In 2013, he landed a starring role in The Carrie Diaries as the hunky Sebastian Kydd.

Today, he stars on The Shannara Chronicles, though you may know him best as Vanessa Hudgens' adorable boyfriend.

And to think - all this started because Austin probably wanted some cotton candy or a ride on a roller coaster!
