The New Clinique + Crayola Collaboration Will Give You Major Nostalgia

My first attempt at lipstick came from a 64-count box of crayons. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup until I was a teen, but 5-year-old me tried to fake it with the closest thing I could find: a pink crayon. It did not work. Luckily, there's a new collab between Clinique and Crayola that is making my childhood dreams come true.

The two iconic brands came together to create a limited-edition collection of 10 Chubby Sticks color-matched to Crayola colors. And some of the colors are true classics: Think Brick Red, Fuzzy Wuzzy, Tickle Me Pink, and Mango Tango. The best part (besides the colors themselves)? The packaging actually looks like a crayon box.

"Opening a box of crayons awakens feelings of nostalgia and memories of childhood filled with playtime and creativity," Clinique wrote in its press release. We'll say! And we're here for this grown-up version.

Let's be real: The best part about makeup is that it makes it completely appropriate to play as an adult. We can break out the sparkles, bright colors, and bold shades with utter abandon. So I am so here for this adult crayon box—and might just use this as an excuse to color outside of the lines.

The full range of shades are available starting right now until February, online or at Clinique counters nationwide, for $17 each.
