Candice King is Moving to "The Originals"
Like vampires themselves, The Vampire Diaries never dies. Even though the series ended earlier this year, it's going to live on in a small way on The Originals through one of your fave characters!
Candice King, who played Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries, is set to appear in the season five premiere of The Originals, according to TV Line.
There aren't any details about her appearance beyond that, but it's easy to imagine tons of scenarios that would bring Caroline into the Originals loop.
But most likely, Caroline's scenes will take place at the The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted - the school Caroline opened for supernatural kids after Stefan died at the end of Vampire Diaries. After all, The Originals will do a major time jump at the beginning of season five that will find Klaus' daughter Hope as a teenager attending the school.
Now the only question is: Is Caroline's appearance on the show just going to be one and done? I hope not!
