Bella Hadid Gets Wings Tattooed on Her Ankles
Model Bella Hadid is the proud new owner of her very own set of angel wings. No, she has not signed a lifetime contract with Victoria’s Secret — rather, she got a pair of tiny wings tattooed on her ankles.
Thanks to some pictures on tattoo artist JonBoy’s account, we now know the 20-year-old model had him add the art to her body.

JonBoy, who has inked other celebs such as Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Zayn Malik, and Sofia Richie, posted photos of Hadid’s feet and her new tats on Monday.
In one caption, he wrote, “fly @bellahadid #jonboytattoo.” He posted a photo of her other foot with a flying dove emoji. And lastly, JonBoy posed for a picture with Hadid in his tattoo parlor.

We suspect the wings are a nod to Hadid’s new gig as a Victoria’s Secret model after walking in her first VS fashion show in Paris in 2016. Hadid did say booking the show was a “dream come true.”
When she got the job, she wrote on Instagram, “I feel so appreciative and excited! Thank you for this opportunity to walk next to some of the most inspiring and incredible women in the world.” It would be a superstylish way to commemorate her first year as a VS Angel.
People magazine also pointed out that the tattoo could be a dedication to her mom, Yolanda Hadid, whom she often calls her angel. “Today marks the day that our beautiful angel, my best friend and mother was brought into this world! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!!! Nobody loves you more than me! @yolanda.hadid Happy birthday sweet mama,” Hadid wrote on Instagram on Jan. 11 in honor of her mom’s birthday.

We’ll have to wait and see if Hadid divulges more information on the inspiration behind her new tiny tats. Until then, we’ll keep admiring them, along with the leather pants and varsity-style Saint Laurent Teddy bomber jacket she wore when she got inked.
