Sunscreen That Works Even Better When Wet

There are lots of things we love about summer, but one of the things we hate is getting a sunburn—especially if it comes after diligent application of a sunscreen that’s supposed to protect our skin. So when it’s finally time to be on the beach, we’ll be reaching for Shiseido’s $40 Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion. It’s a luxurious answer to the standard high-SPF variants you’ll find at the local drugstore, and it’s also highly effective. It’s formulated to actually getstronger when it comes into contact with water, which means you can splash around the beach or pool without fear of leaving your skin unprotected.
But be warned: Like all sunscreens, after a while this one will wash off. So be sure to get enough of the stuff so that you can reapply it every now and again. Which, as you know, is the responsible thing to do.
