These 10 Moms Are Proving You Can Be Super-Fit Through Your Whole Pregnancy and After Too

From Cosmopolitan

As a pregnant woman, you get a lot of attention for your body - whether you like it or not. Lately, though, the internet has seen a bunch of women who are embracing their figures (and shutting down haters) during and after pregnancy, including some who are proud to show off just how fit they can be even with a baby bump. Several models, trainers, and just seriously fit moms have been documenting their pregnancies and postpartum bodies on Instagram lately, flaunting their ripped muscles and even six-packs.

1. Sarah Stage (@sarahstage)

When the lingerie model shared her first pregnancy photo at seven months along, she was met with backlash from people who said her six-pack couldn't possibly be healthy for her pregnancy. (They likely were also floored by the above selfie she shared just four days postpartum too.) Sarah responded by telling Cosmopolitan.com, "I didn't think anything of the way I looked, I just thought, This is me. I think women are beautiful, and we're all different shapes and sizes."

2. Chontel Duncan (@chontelduncan)

The fitness model from Australia has documented her whole pregnancy on Instagram, and up until she gave birth last month, she had an incredible six-pack. Just five days after giving birth to her little boy Jeremiah, she shared a full-length selfie of her stomach, writing, "It's super crazy how different my body feels, I can't believe my bump is gone and I no longer have my baby hiding inside of me."

3. Stacie Venagro (@stacievenagro)

Three-time World Miss Fitness America Pro and 2015 Miss Fitness Universe Stacie Venagro had a six-pack all through her pregnancy. A week after giving birth, she shared a shot of her post-baby belly explaining, "Documenting every step of my pregnancy is just as important as after my pregnancy."

4. Sia Cooper (@diaryofafitmommyofficial)

Sia, who blogs on Diary of a Fit Mommy, gave birth to her little boy two years ago and shared the above shots during and after her pregnancy. Now, she's pregnant again, expecting her second baby next month, and has an incredible six-pack, thanks to keeping up with her intense workouts - which include squat jumps, lunge kicks, and lifting weights - five days a week.

5. Jamie Eason Middleton (@jamieeasonmiddleton)

A Reebok master trainer, Jamie has looked amazing through two pregnancies as well. Above are shots of her during her first pregnancy and five weeks postpartum. She's now just a week out from welcoming baby no. 2.

6. Julie Baird (@ourfitfamilylife)

A certified personal trainer who also blogs at Our Fit Family Life, Julie shares photos of her pregnancy, postpartum fitness, and workout videos that feature her little boy.

7. Kristy Ardo (@baby_fitgym)

Personal trainer and dive coach Kristy Ardo has a 19-month-old son named Tucker who she loves to work out with. (The toddler acts as added resistance when she's doing crunches or a 26-pound weight to lift overhead.) Ardo's also expecting her second baby in July.

8. Revie Schulz (@reviejane)

CrossFit trainer Revie Schulz received a ton of backlash when she posted videos like the one above during her pregnancy late last year. "Exercise does NOT hurt my baby, or me, but brazen, mean, uneducated comments do," she wrote on her Facebook page. Schulz is due to give birth any day now.

9. Emily Breeze Ross (@emilybreeze)

Thirty-one-year-old Emily Breeze Ross made headlines last week for dead-lifting 155 pounds and working out six times a week, which is an applause-worthy feat, period, but it's also pretty impressive because she's about to give birth in a few weeks.

10. Amy Updike (@fitamysuzanne)

A pediatric registered nurse, International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) bikini professional, and weightlifting mom of two, Amy earned her Insta following by sharing tons of badass photos and videos of herself in the gym during and after her pregnancy.
