Tayshia Adams shared a lot of her personal life while being the lead of season 16 of The Bachelorette, and now, she's sharing one of her favorite baking recipes. The social media star and podcaster showed how she makes her favorite oatmeal butterscotch cookies while answering questions about her life and the show.

As for ingredients, you'll need butter, brown sugar, eggs vanilla, flour (Tayshia used oat flour), salt, baking soda, baking powder, rolled oats, and butterscotch morsels. For the full breakdown of measurements and steps, you can find Tayshia's recipe here to follow along.

While combining all of the ingredients in the New York City apartment she shares with her fiancé Zac, she talked about her eating habits and why exactly it is that you never see contestants eating on their dates on any of the Bachelor franchise shows.

"As far as The Bachelor goes, I know everybody is so concerned as to why we don't ever eat the food on the dates. It's generally because there's cameras and mics and all that and it would be kind of hard to get your sound bytes while you're chewing and eating," she explained: "We generally eat before the dates. Sometimes the food looks kind of good and you want to poke at it, so that's definitely happened."

Since filming wrapped and she's been living in NYC with Zac, the two haven't been cooking much, partially because Zac doesn't have all of the necessary equipment in his kitchen for Tayshia to show off her culinary skills.

"When we get a new place, a bigger place, we're gonna start cooking more," she said. "But for now, we're having fun exploring the city and getting lots of food ordered in."

With takeout and Tayshia's baking skills, what more could you need? Love—and the smell of freshly baked cookies—seem to be in the air for the happy couple. I stan!!
