Madonna's Daughter Just Made Her NYFW Debut In a Seashell Bikini Top

When you’re Madonna’s daughter, the bar for “outrageous” is set just a little bit higher.

Madge’s 21-year-old, Lourdes Leon, made her New York Fashion Week debut on Tuesday night during Gypsy Sport’s Spring 2019 show, and her look was basically the 2018 equivalent of mom’s iconic cone bra.

The model, who’s famously averse to shaving her body hair, hit the runway in a shell-laden chain link top (does this qualify as a top??), completely shredded ultra-low-rise bell bottom jeans, teeny tiny (and completely non-functional) sunglasses, and a bright green headpiece of leaves — oh, and some seriously ‘90s dad sneakers. This is exactly what I wear on late night bodega runs, FYI.

Considering the breadth of her modeling career, it’s hard to believe that this is Lourdes’s first walk down an NYFW runway. Lourdes “Lola” made her debut as one of the faces of Stella McCartney’s Pop fragrance in 2016. She also starred in Erin Magee’s Converse x MadeMe collaboration in late 2017.

Anyway, if Lola’s goal is to follow her mom’s trendsetting (and often jaw-dropping) path, we’d say she’s off to an incredible start.
