Hot Damn! Can You Believe Jane Fonda Is 76?

As a fashion person, I’ve used nearly every persona of Jane Fonda as a reference at some point. From ‘Barberella’ to ‘Klute’ to her 1980s workout videos, her changing looks throughout her many years in the spotlight offer endless inspiration. And at 76, she’s not stopping. Dressed in head-to-toe black at the LA premiere of her upcoming movie “This Is Where I Leave You” on Monday, Fonda kills it. 

I’m just finishing taking in the Spring/Summer 2015 fashion shows in New York City and London and I’ve noticed that sheer dressing is huge. (P.S. How to wear the trend is coming soon!) But to be honest, I don’t think any of those 100 lb., 18-year-old girls on the runways can hold a candle to Jane.

Let’s break it down for a moment and see why it works. First of all, it’s a tuxedo that’s been jazzed up with sequins and sparkle but the conservative cut is still sexy and shows enough skin to leave enough for the imagination. The top doesn’t have a plunging neckline but rather it’s cut modestly and that lets the hint of sheer be the risk.
