WATCH: Crews respond to car on fire in Montgomery County
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Crews responded to a car that caught on fire in Montgomery County Friday evening.
The car caught on fire on I-270 north of Route 121, blocking some lanes.
Herndon police stop speeding 15-year-old driver
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson, Pete Piringer, said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that the SUV was “well involved” in the fire when crews arrived.
He said that as of 7:10 p.m., the fire had been put out and there were no injuries.
