Style icon Lupita Nyong’o never disappoints! This week, the actress stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to discuss her new Jordan Peele film, titled “Us,” where she was looking more than pretty in hot pink.

During her appearance, Nyong’o surprised everyone by wearing eerie golden contact lenses. But while everyone else was freaking out about her eyes, I was totally freaking out over her Bande Noir Fall 2019 shiny hot pink suit, which she paired with lucite heels. The hot pink utility top, which seemed like it was made out of an organza-like fabric, and matching pants looked absolutely stunning on Nyong’o, who I really think could wear anything and still look chic. But on top of that amazingness, she styled it with Sergio Rossi clear heels, which, on the rare occasion that I wear heels, are always my go-to!

I’m so obsessed with this look so, obviously, I had to figure out how we could recreate it for less.

This hot pink crinkle velvet jacket by Topshop via Nordstrom Rack and matching pants via Nordstrom is the closest outfit I could find that had the essence of Nyongo’s number — textured, sophisticated, edgy and glam.
