Early this morning, President Trump accused the women who confronted Sen. Jeff Flake in an elevator before the Brett Kavanaugh vote "paid professionals."

"The very rude elevator screamers are paid professionals only looking to make Senators look bad. Don’t fall for it! Also, look at all of the professionally made identical signs. Paid for by Soros and others. These are not signs made in the basement from love! #Troublemakers"

The women he's referring to are Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher, sexual assault survivors who confront Sen. Flake in an elevator as he was on his way to vote on Kavanaugh's nomination.

Sen. Flake looked down for most of the encounter, especially when Gallagher pleaded with him to look her in the eye.

You are telling me that my assault doesn't matter, that what happened to me doesn't, and that you're going to let people who do these things into power. That's what you're telling me when you vote for him. Don't look away from me.

Look at me and tell me that it doesn't matter what happened to me, that you will let people like that go into the highest court of the land and tell everyone what they can do to their bodies."

The confrontation, which quickly went viral, could be what persuaded Sen. Flake to demand an FBI investigation into Kavanaugh.

Trump accused these women of being paid crisis actors, and said the protestors were actually professionals, and their signs were paid for by philanthropist George Soros.

The Senate is expected to have a final vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation in the next two days.
