Body found in lake near Crossing Boulevard, CCSO says
Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook reports incident that happened on Crossing Boulevard.

CCSO received a call that there was a body in the lake. Deputies responded and were able to pull the body out of the water.
The person was found dead.

Sheriff’s made an initial investigation which identified the person to be a male.
It is believed the deceased victim is in his 60s.

No foul play is expected and there is no threat to the community.
At this time police are trying to notify the next of kin.
