Brandi Glanville blasts critics of her nearly bare bum 10-year challenge photo: 'I'm not dead & I’m proud of my body'

Brandi Glanville‘s bum has caused a backlash.

Like everyone else in your Facebook or Instagram feeds, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality, 46, posted a 10-year challenge photo. Unlike everyone in those feeds, however, it was a shot of her butt – now and then.

The thong shot, snapped in a bathroom where a throwback of her fully bare buttocks hung on the wall, drew negative comments from followers who didn’t think it was appropriate for a litany of reasons: her age, the fact that she’s a mother and so on.

Here are some of the comments:

All the hate led Glanville to address the “mean girl backlash” over her butt selfie on Twitter. “I don’t understand the problem with me as a mother of 2 in her mid 40’s posting a non pornographic picture of my ass !!!” she wrote. “Wow the MEANGIRL backlash is REAL!!! I’m a mom& a sexual person . Im not dead & I’m proud of my body-Haters get over it.”

She was largely applauded for that.

And her point — about being proud of herself for being a hot mama — seemed to resonate.

Glanville didn’t take any crap here — and don’t expect her to when she makes her big return to RHOBH. Back for the first time since Season 6, she was featured in the Season 9 trailer quipping, “Cheers, b****!” to newcomer Denise Richards, whom she is friendly with.
