The Freedom 4 Miler

Constitution Park, Tequesta

This July 4 racing event sponsored by Believe With Me benefits the nation's Gold Star families.The money raised will go to Christmas gifts for 1,500 children of fallen soldiers and also will help with the immediate financial needs of their families.  Registration will include a Freedom 4 Miler race-tek T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and race bib with the name of a fallen hero that Believe With Me has served.

This north county shindig will feature a barbecue, golf cart parade (you must register in advance), live music with The Stevie Nicks Experience and fireworks to cap off the night.

Celebrate the Fourth of July at West Palm Beach's largest single-day event of the year.

This year's festivities will include live music by Reverend Barry & The Funk on the Great Lawn from 6 to 8:45 p.m.; the Bill Bone 5K race, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at Post Park and featuring a DJ; and a Military Honor Salute.  Mayor Keith James will say a few words at 8:45 p.m. and a fireworks display will follow beginning at 9:09 p.m.

Royal Palm Beach's Fourth of July celebration will be an almost all-day affairpacked with something for everyone. There will a bungee trampoline, rock wall, bounce houses, a water slide, kayaking and paddleboarding, a petting zoo, face painting, arts and crafts, vendors, a military tribute and a fireworks display. Live music will be provided by 56 Ace at 6 p.m. and BeeGees Tribute at 8 p.m.

This event will feature The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, to deliver the tunes and 20 food trucks to fill the tank with sweet, salty and savory goodness. There will be fireworks to end the evening. Also in the mix: bounce houses, a climbing wall, games, bingo, slides, an apple pie-eating contest, a watermelon-eating contest, obstacle courses and the US Ninja Warrior Warped Wall and Ninja Steps (waiver required).

First Annual FourthFest

City of Westlake

This inaugural celebration in the county's newest city will feature live music by Alexander Star & The Golden People, food trucks featuring barbecue, Cajun fare, hot dogs and desserts, a kid zone sponsored by Zeus World that's filled with games, slides and a bounce house, and fireworks put on by Zamelli Fireworks. Admission and parking are free.

Time for the annual raft parade and race. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at J Street and Lake Avenue and ends at Bryant Park. The Great American Raft Race  follows at noon and will feature more than 20 homemade rafts that will race in the Intracoastal Waterway. This year's theme is Dr. Seuss. From 5 to 9 p.m. at Bryant Park, there will be live music by DJ Mike Locke, 30HZ and No Filter. The fireworks start at 9 p.m. The event is being sponsored by WPTV-Channel 5 and radio station WLDI-Oldies 95.5 FM.

Time to get that child to this celebration which includes a Most Patriotic Baby contest, but also covers the other July 4th must-haves: live music by Nikki Kidd & The Collective, food and craft vendors, stilt walkers, mimes, family games, and fireworks. This event includes water shows by Palm Beach Hydroflight and one of the largest Zambelli fireworks displays in Palm Beach County. The festivities also include live music by the No Big Deal Band and the Peter Bernard steel drum band; food trucks including Boardwalk Italian Ice & Creamery, Cardona’s Kitchen, Guaca Go, Just Eatz, Kona Ice, Little Moir's Hibiscus StrEATery, Professional Concessions (PCI), Troy's Bar-Be-Que, and That’s Amore; plus kids' activities. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue.

The Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration on East Atlantic Avenue begins with the raising of a 60-foot flag and singing of the National Anthem.

This family event has been going for more than 50 years and draws approximately 80,000 people annually. Sponsored by WPTV-Channel 5, WOLL-KOOL 105.5 FM, WZZR-Real Radio 92.1 FM, Opal Grand, Robes Law, Discover the Palm Beaches and Burger Fi, the event starts with a solemn 60-foot flag-raising ceremony, with an honor guard and the singing of the national anthem. There will be custard-eating and cheeseburger-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment with DJ Big Smile and Groove 2.0 Band, and more. The fireworks will start at 9 p.m.

Fabulous Fourth Celebration

Countess de Hoernle Park, Boca Raton

This festival promises a way to get out of the house and still have a cool indoor retreat to beat the heat: two video game trucks. Of course, the outdoors will be calling with amusement rides, kids’ crafts, interactive musical instruments, strolling entertainers, a kids’ DJ and games . Indulge in a variety of food options including seafood, tacos, mac and cheese, pizza, chicken, ice cream, and baked goods. Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band will provide the music. A fireworks show will end the night.

Journey to this celebration to celebrate with Journey tribute band Odyssey Road. The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with WLZX-Oldies 95.3/96.9 FM, will present the 14th Annual 4th of July Celebration. The event alos will feature a fireworks display, a kid’s fun zone and more. Concessions will be available on-site. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.
