With 73% of more than 7,200 votes, Oglethorpe County's Will Sampson was selected by OnlineAthens.com readers as the Athens-area Week 4 High School Football Player of the Week.
In Oglethorpe County’s 42-0 victory over Lake Oconee Academy, Sampson ran for two touchdowns and threw three touchdown passes.
Voting will continue Monday morning through Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Keon Rogers, Prince Avenue Christian
In Prince Avenue's 29-20 victory over Monroe Area, Rogers had 15 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
Will Sampson, Oglethorpe County
