'Untrapped: The Story Of Lil Baby' Exclusive Preview Of Prime Video Doc Highlights His Life As A Father

In a Shadow and Act exclusive clip from Prime Video's upcoming Lil Baby doc, Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby, the rapper showcases a part of him many may not have seen-- his life as a father.

“Family is more important to me than anything,” the father of two says in the above clip. “I don’t ever see me leaving my kids. I don’t wanna be no holiday dad and not just talk to you."

He also opens up about the relationship with his own father and how that impacts his own parenting.

“My dad kind of stayed out of town,” he added. “It was like I’d see him every now and then, a couple times a year. I can’t really say, to this day, the situation him and my momma had. So, I don’t just have that father/son relationship that I would want, or I feel that I should have had. My son asks me stuff like, ‘Did you used to do this with your daddy?’ And my answer is like, ‘No.’ I really do want him to understand like everybody don’t be having that growing up. I ain’t have it. … He tells me, ‘Daddy, I want to do everything you do.’ And that means the most to me. I take that s**t serious.”
