Alamance County's Twosday baby, Judah Grace Spears, received a donation to her college savings account from folks with North Carolina's 529 education savings program on Friday.
The baby girl, born at 2:22 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2022 -- otherwise known as Twosday -- in delivery room 2 at Alamance Regional Medical Center has captured the hearts of her parents as well as community members and organizations like NC 529.
Her newfound fame comes with benefits. On Friday afternoon, Judah was met by NC 529 representatives to receive a check for a $2,222 investment in her 529 account for her future college education.

"I'd like to say congratulations to you on behalf of of North Carolina's 529 national college savings program. We heard the news of Judah being born on that wonderful 2/22/22 day and we thought what better way to celebrate with you all than make an investment in her college education," a NC 529 regional representative told the Spears family on Friday.
At the last minute, representatives changed the amount to $2,529 to reflect the NC 529 Plan.
"I can't wait to see the plan that God has for Judah Grace," the representative said.
Judah's parents, Aberli and Hank, were shocked but grateful for the contribution.
"It's just as shocking as the date and time," Aberli said. "I'm flabbergasted."
According to the Spears, people from all over the world have been calling wanting to interview them so Judah's fame has reached far beyond Alamance County.
"We're super blessed," she said.
Aberli and Hank Spears met just three months before Aberli was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. After her cancer treatments, doctors told the couple they might never be able to have children. The couple looked into freezing Aberli's eggs, but without insurance coverage the cost was too high.
In 2020, Aberli got the all clear from her doctors and the couple began trying to have a baby. Then Judah came along.
"We came here to get induced on the 20th at 11:50 p.m. That was the plan, to have a baby on the 21st," Aberli said. "After 26 hours of labor, then she finally decided to show up."
The Spears could not have predicted the magic of their daughters birth but are soaking up every moment of it.
