Strawberries are ripe and ready for a 'pick your own adventure' at local RI farms
It's the most wonderful time of the year: local strawberry season.
Sweet and delicious, big red strawberries are versatile for sweet and savory baking and cooking and perfect picked right out of the field.
These six spots sell pre-picked berries and offer pick-your-own hours but they change daily so call ahead or check online.
Let the sweetness begin.

Quonset View Farm
Quonset View Farm is open for pick your own strawberries daily from 8am-6pm. Pre-picked berries are also be available at the farm and Clements Market.

Be sure to check their facebook page, "It's still early in the season but we have a small, but nice, section of berries that need to be picked before they spoil. We will eventually have more frequent opportunities to PYO strawberries as the season progresses."
