Shaq Surprises Deserving Fan With An Invicta Watch

Shaquille O’Neal is no stranger to altruistic behavior. On May 27, O’Neal made a fan’s day at the Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks game by gifting him a watch, Atlanta Black Star reports.

The basketball legend shared a clip of the gesture on his Instagram. The video starts with the 50-year-old explaining that he had a special gift for a special game-goer.

“I’m here at the Western Conference finals, and I’m about to do something special. I’m ’bout to give a fan this,” he said in the clip, flashing a watch from his collaboration with Invicta.

Later, we see a man donned in head-to-toe Warriors gear. The former Lakers player then greets the man with a handshake before taking off the watch and handing it over to the man.

A woman off camera shouted, “What? My dad loves you.”

The man quickly became emotional, telling O’Neal that he’s been through health struggles in the past and that he’s thrilled to have met one of his favorite basketball players.

“Shaq, you don’t know, but you are my favorite man. I can’t believe … First of all, brother, I’ve had three heart attacks, I’m alive, and I got to meet Shaq, and I got to meet Kenny [Smith],” he said. “Come on, man. All praises to the highest up.”

Fans praised O’Neal for his generosity.

“The give away is a blessing. You made his daysssssss. He’s blessed to be alive. May God continue to sow into you and him, as y’all sow into others. Blessings on blessings,” one viewer wrote on Instagram.

“Huge heart, always giving back and can’t take it with you mentality,” another added. “You are truly an inspiration!!!”
