Third time's a charm for Ric Flair's retirement?

Good morning, friends, this is Tennessean storytelling columnist Brad Schmitt.

Yes, many big country acts have held last concerts on their final tours here in Music City.

But the swan song for 73-year-old Flair, which happens Sunday at Municipal Auditorium, may be a first for wrasslin'. (Flair, BTW, said he has tried to retire twice before, so we'll see if this actually happens.)

Tennessean music writer Marcus K. Dowling — uncoincidentally a big Ric Flair fan — has written extensively about his wrestling hero. In his latest story, Dowling compares Flair to Elvis Presley.
