Personal Instagram of Aespa's Ningning is allegedly hacked over her celebration of Team China's Olympics win
K-pop fans are urging SM Entertainment to protect its talents after the personal Instagram account of Aespa member Ningning was hacked by an allegedly outraged South Korean social media user.
The hacking incident happened days after Ningning, whose real name in Chinese is Ning Yi Zhuo, was attacked by South Korean social media users after she celebrated Team China’s recent gold medal win in speed skating at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
The hacker reportedly leaked information about some of the Instagram accounts Ningning follows, including those of Blackpink, Ed Sheeran and BTS members Suga and J-Hope, to name a few.
Aespa fans, collectively known as MYs, reportedly discovered it was Ningning’s account after noticing that it was also being followed by Aespa’s stylists and the artist’s known friends, according to Meaww.
MYs immediately took to social media and tagged SM Entertainment to address the issue and protect Ningning from all the hate.
Ningning is only a 19 years old, she is a human, she did nothing wrong and she doesn’t deserve her privacy to be invaded, please @SMTOWNGLOBAL protect your artists. #SM_PROTECT_NINGNING

Ningning is only 19 years old yet is already a main vocalist of a successful kpop group. Some people seems to be so threatened of her for being so successful at a young age that they try to tarnish her success.

Ningning was attacked this week for posting about her excitement after Team China won its first gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, as NextShark previously reported.
The K-pop star was criticized by South Korean social media users, who claimed her to be a supporter of Team China’s alleged cheating at the Winter Olympics. South Korean athletes Hwang Dae-heon and Lee June-seo were reportedly disqualified for an illegal late pass and lane change, respectively, on Monday.
The disqualification helped China take home gold, an outcome that caused much anger in South Korea and even prompted the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) to file an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over the “unfairness” of judging in the short track races.
